2566 Radioelectronic Armament Repair Plant JSC (REARP) is one of the leading enterprises in repair and modernisation of air defence weapons.

The plant has repaired more than 1200 units of military armaments since 1992, including samples of sophisticated air defence weapons: ADMS S-300 PS (PT), S-200 Vega, S-125 Neva (Pechora), S-75, OSA-AKM, 2S6 Tunguska anti-aircraft gun-missile system, radars of different types, mobile height finders PRV-13, PRV-16, ground-based interrogators, measuring stations, diesel electrical stations etc. The enterprise is engaged into the repair and prolongation of the term of technical adequacy of 5V27D and 5V28 antiaircraft missiles.

Today, the enterprise offers such services as overhaul, modernisation, technical maintenance and current repair of a wide range of armament and air defence weapons at its cantonments. Alongside with traditional servicing radio electronic armaments, the enterprise offers the modernisation of weapon samples, possibly, in cooperation with others enterprises.

The enterprise has successfully mastered the repair and upgrading of BM–21 combat vehicle of the Grad multiple–rocket launch system up to the level BM–21A Belgrad. The customer received modernised vehicles with new performance parameters, confirmed by proving grounds testing.

2566 Radioelectronic Armament Repair Plant JSC carries out an in–depth modernisation of the Osa (9A33BM2, 9A33BM3) combat vehicle up to the level 9A33–1B. The operating experience of this combat vehicle shows that one of the big questions in repairing them is the purchase of spare parts and assemblies for chassis 5937 because they are out of production. That is why a new concept has appeared – all equipment should be mounted on the series-produced MAZ native vehicle. The technical appearance of the future product was created, weight-size and operating dimensions were calculated. Such modernisation will preserve its serviceability and save its combat capabilities, without worsening its maneuver effectiveness. The modernised Osa, after the completion of full cycle testing and after attaining the planned specifications, will arouse great interest among specialists from foreign countries.
