558 ARP JSC is one-of-a-kind in the Republic of Belarus and among the few enterprises in CIS that offers a broad variety of services in overhauling and modernising various types of aircraft.
The plant possesses a well-functioning system of work organisation, sufficient facilities, energy systems, unique process equipment, tools and rigging, all types of specifications and technical documentation. Substantial attention is paid to developing service equipment as well as to introducing brand–new technological processes.
The main activity area of the plant is overhauling and modernising Su-22, Su-25, Su-27, Su-30, MiG-29, An-2 aircraft and Mi-8 (Mi-17) and Mi-24 (Mi-35). 558 ARP JSC performs the complete repair cycle of airframes and all components, complex upgrading of aircraft, and takes extra preventive measures to boost their reliability. Special consideration in the course of overhaul is given to fault detection using state-of-the-art NDT (magnetic, eddy current, X-ray TV etc.). All materials and parts used in overhaul comply with most rigorous requirements. Three-stage entrance control system and accredited central plant lab serve this purpose.

A project on extending production facilities of aviation materiel components manufacture for aircraft building industry is successfully put into practice.

Besides mastering the overhaul of new aviation materiel types, the enterprise develops and manufactures systems of aerial vehicle radio–technical protection against high precision radio controlled weapons, tactical UAVs, sophisticated bench hardware and testing equipment; it provides service (post–warranty) maintenance of aviation materiel, develops and creates aviation materiel logistic support centers, offers training for customers’ specialists with regard to overhauling and operating aviation materiel.
