ALEVKURP JSC was established in 1996 as Scientific and Production Republican Unitary Enterprise, which was reorganised into an Open Joint Stock Company in 2010. The company is part of the Belarusian State Military Industrial Committee since 2007.
The company specialises in R&D on modernisation and creation of new radar systems, weapon control systems using the advanced technologies for real-time digital signal and information processing, as well as microwave and intermediate frequency equipment with the use of the latest radio measuring tools, and in repair and antiaircraft armament modernisation.
In 2005, ALEVKURP was awarded with the 1st National prize of Russia “Gold Idea” in the nomination “For Contribution to the Development of Export–Oriented Military Products” for achievements in the deep modernisation of the Pechora-2M SAM system as a part of IFIG (interstate financial and industrial group) Defence systems.
In 2007, the “Kremlin” Fund under the authority of the Administration of the Russian Federation President awarded the enterprise with the “Golden Star” Prize for “For the Development of Air Defence Assets”.
In 2013–2015 ALEVKURP JSC developed, manufactured and successfully delivered to a foreign customer the first domestic air defence missile system ALEBARDA.
At present, the sales geography of the enterprise covers Africa, Southeast Asia, and Latin America.
