BRODOSPLIT – Naval & Special Vessel Shipyard is one of the subsidiaries of Brodosplit Holding Company, the one that Brodosplit Holding Company can be specially proud of.
Over two decades of tradition in building sophisticated warships, submarines and special naval vessels gave us an outstanding position among the Croatian shipyards and among very few of such specialised shipyards at international level.
The company is comprehensively equipped to design, construct, equip and test large scale of naval and special vessels, as well as to transfer know-how and technology to the customer’s shipyards.
It has also all the facilities necessary to carry out repair, overhaul and maintenance of the special vessels, as well as fabrication of high strength steel construction.
Having experience with various Navies, our expert teams are ready to give full after delivery support for:
maintenance, training, marine support equipment and logistics.
We are ready to respond to each particular requirement and to find tailor-made solution, including upgrade and modernisation of the projects from our production program as well as development of the new ones.
Our personnel include highly skilled technicians and professional engineers who are dedicated to their work.
The yard facilities enable the construction to be carried out in a completely closed area having:
– Slipway hall for constructing ships up to 60 m length, 1000 t displacement, equipped with 7 cranes, the largest being capable of carrying max. 800 KN.
– Pre-assembling and assembling shops and open space area 34.000 m2
– Outfitting shop area 1.400 m2
– Storage shop area 1.900 m2
– Vertical hydraulic plant for bending of cylindrical and cone shaped plates force=20.000 KN

In the course of our long history we have built a wide range of high standard specialised vessels for domestic and foreign Navies.
We are specially proud of the vessels built for Croatian Navy – two transport ships / minelayers (delivered 1993 and 1995) and one midget submarine (1996).
BRODOSPLIT – Naval & Special Vessel Shipyard has accomplished complete overhaul of dieselelectric submarines up to 1000 t underwater displacement, ammunition transport ships and vehicle transport ship/minelayers, both up to
1000 t full load displacement.
New projects Being experts in submarine technology and constructing ships that demand the highest level of technical input, we developed a project of fast aluminium craft for passenger transportation, Coast Guard and Navies.
