ESM INSTITUTO DE INVESTIGACIÓN EN SEGURIDAD Y FACTORES HUMANOS, S.L.

The ESM Instituto de INVESTIGACIÓN en Seguridad y Factores Humanos was founded in 1988 with the intention of seeking solutions that reduce risk in industry and transport (civil and defence). It is engaged mainly in research activities on applying new methodologies for risk analysis, the creation of innovative control systems, the production of technology tools, the development of virtual learning and simulation environments for training operators on critical situations. The ESM also acts on research activities in Europe, including projects that specialise on the human aspects of systems (MMI) in the fields of mining, steel, transport, chemicals and defence.
