Čateks d.d. (Čateks Inc.) is a company with a long-time tradition and it is one of the oldest companies in Croatia.
The small dyer´s workshop owned by Samuel Neuman produced the first meters of dyed domestic linen in 1874. The very year of 1874 is considered the year in which the textile industry in the region of Medimurje was founded.

Today, throught its intensive development Čateks has reached a wide production program: dying and printing of fabrics, household linen, artificial leather on the polyurethane basis (for upholstery, footwear, fancy goods, clothes), protective working clothes on the polyurethane basis – sewn and welded, protective sports clothing on the polyurethane basis.
In the year 1993 the fabrics processing plant was modernized. Thus, the production of the mask fabrics according to the NATO standards was enabled. In fabrics, Čateks is the largest supplier of the Croatian army and, directly or indirectly, for the armies of the other countries, too.

In 2001 Čateks introduced a new coating line on the PU basis, with the width of 220 cm. In this way it modernizes and continues a tradition of the production of the protective clothes. Čateks is the largest supplier of the protective clothing for the Croatian army:
rain-clothes, rain-caps and rain-coats.
Čateks effectuates 75 % of its sales on foreign markets (Germany, USA, Belgium, France, Italy, Hungary, etc).

A century of experience and the contemporary market orientation are the guarantees for success.
