Electron Progress EAD is an engineering company and system integrator, part of the Bulgarian Defense Technological Industrial Base (BDTIB) and is the successor of the former Institute of Special Electronics (ISE), founded in the late 60s of 20th century. At present, the company is the leading integrator of C4I (command, control, communications, computers for intelligence) for the Ministry of Defense as well as complex communications and information systems for the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Transportation and Information Systems and other governmental and private organizations and bodies.
The company employs world class specialists in the area of CIS for defense, security and information systems. They have received training and education at global leading partner companies.

Electron Progress has an extensive experience and unique know-how in the development, design and implementation of communications and information products and systems.
The company has a patent in the field of improvised explosive devices (IED) counter measures. All of the company employees have “Secret” level national security clearance and many of them have NATO “Secret” level security clearances. Electron Progress EAD designs and acquires new products, systems and services such as:
• Turn-key solutions in the field of tactical communications and information networks
• Experience in installation and systems integration of C4I solutions, telecommunication and IT equipment incl. tactical radios, microwave radios, satellite systems and network equipment, on different vehicular platforms
• Local assembly and manufacturing of tactical radio and other communication equipment

The company is certified according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001, ISO 27001, NATO Alliance AQAP 2110 quality standards.
The company has signed Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) with the NATO Communication and Information Agency (NCIA). It is also licensed for trade in arms and dual-use goods.
Electron Progress EAD has certified facilities for processing of national and NATO classified information up to the “Secret” level. The company has also a certified by the Bulgarian NSA local area network for processing of classified information.
