INKOP, Industry of leather and footwear is located at Poznanovec. They process leather and manufacture footwear. The company began processing leather in 1919, and the first shoes were made in 1960. INKOP manufactures fashion and protective footwear and footwear for special purposes (military, police, firefighting, medical footwear).
In manufacture of military and special protective footwear, they use a lining material with fitted waterproof and steam permeable membranes that prevent penetration of water in footwear and at the same time, enable unhindered respiration of feet.
Main customers of the footwear for special purposes are:
- Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Croatia
- Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Croatia
- public companies in the Republic of Croatia (working-protective footwear)
- Ministry of Defense of Montenegro
- Ministry of Defense of Bulgaria.
Since 17 May 2007, INKOP has been holder of the certificate for management system EN ISO 9001:2000.
