“MUNJA” Joint Stock Company, the plant for production of batteries, exists as the only and the oldest producer of this kind of products in the Republic of Croatia, and originates from the year 1920.
Munja is presently producing as follows:
- starter batteries – DIN standard for all types of cars, cargo vehicles and agriculture mechanization:
- batteries for special purpose for army requirements;
- batteries atested for ships;
- stationary cells atested for submarines types Pg 3820 and 16 PrE490;
- stationary GroE batteries – DIN standard;
- tractionary batteries.
Munja batteries are high quality products with following characteristics:
- fabrication in polypropylene or hard rubber, voltage 6 or 12V, capacity from 36 till 210 Ah;
- production according to special requirements by ordering party;
container batteries high quality without maintenance; - dry charged batteries;
- ability of warehousing without electrolytes for long period of time without loosing characteristics (dry charge variety);
- simple installation in vehicle and momentary ability for usage;
- after putting the electrolyte (without former charging by electricity);
- ability for discharging by high electricity that provides safety movement of engine on low temperature.
