History and Specialization
Like any other Ural defence enterprise Artillery Plant No.9 was founded in the World War II period and made its important contribution to gain the Victory. Today the Plant continues working on ensuring Russian defence capability by developing and producing towed guns, tank guns, and guns for SP artillery units.

Design Office No.9
Design Office No.9 named after F.F. Petrov is a leading design office in Russia, which deals with development of tank guns, towed guns and guns for SP Artillery units.

Plant Celebrities
There are a lot of people who made an outstanding contribution to foundation of Artillery Plant No. 9 and its development to a leading company in its field, and the first ones to mention are chief designers Mr.F.F. Petrov, Mr. V.A. Golubev and the first plant director Mr. L.R. Gonor.

Company Products
Artillery systems developed by Plant No. 9 are in service with more than sixty countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and South America (not counting the CIS countries). Nine countries produce them under licence.

Status and Prospect
Being the main developer and manufacturer of barreled artillery systems in Russia Artillery Plant No. 9 possesses the necessary scientific potential and state-of-the-art technologies; it has its own proving range and can solve any problem in development and production of artillery materiel.
